Run at pace with the ball and check back over your shoulder as this is space you will turn into. Get into the habit of checking if you can turn into the space. Exaggerate a passing or shooting movement. Place your foot around the front of the ball and across your body. Turn and allow the other foot to take control of the ball. Explode and accelerate into the space. Repeat the drill using the opposite foot.
